Tell your friends!!! I’d love to get booked up with newborns!!!
Many of you have been asking how many photos you get in a typical newborn session. Well, honestly, that varies, but it’s usually about 20-30 images at least. I bring all the props, blankets, hats, wraps, etc. with me, so all you do is sit back and relax, while I create your photographic memories of these special times with your newborn baby(ies).
Usually I’ll set up at least 4-6 separate settings, using a variety of backgrounds, props and poses. This results in a beautiful documentation of your little one’s personality and cuddly beauty, and gives us enough images for wall art, baby announcements and/or holiday cards, photo albums, memory boxes, and plenty of gift prints for grandparents, friends and relatives.
When I’ve completed editing the photos from your session, you’ll get a private link to your slide show set to music.
Here’s an example of a typical newborn slide show from a recent twin session I did, so you get an idea of what you will receive with your newborn photo session. This family provided extra props from the Brazil and Argentina professional soccer teams, since the proud papa is a huge fan! I’m happy to accommodate similar requests, just let me know what you have in mind.
Yep, another triplet family came my way recently wanting family portraits taken. We met over at the Mesa Art Center and it was the perfect location for this active family! the kids had so much fun climbing and running around the place, looking into the many water features, and jumping on the circle stones! We all had a blast, actually… until the sprinklers soaked us!!! LOL.
But as with most triplet families I know, these parents just rolled with the flow, dried everyone off, and we hardly missed a beat.
Yep, when you have triplets you learn to just “deal with it”, LOL.
Hope you enjoy your photos Mom and Dad! More to come soon.
Oh, yeah, and when all else fails… pull out the lolly-pops!
These little ladies were just gorgeous for the one-year portrait session. We took these on their actual birthday! A huge day for both of these twin girls, but especially an enormous milestone for their proud mommy and daddy. I remember when my girls turned one and it’s just such a monumental event. To think that you got through the pregnancy, delivery, infancy, and now you have beautiful one year olds who have the whole world ahead of them. It truly is worth documenting, and I love to do it!
I’m super happy with how these children’s portraits turned out. The light was just beautiful, as were the girls in their gorgeous hand-picked wardrobe. It made for a dreamy photo session.
Enjoy your sneak peek, Mom and Dad. More to come in your full gallery soon.
These two little guys were so cuddly and sleepy almost the whole time I was there. And that’s no surprise considering they came home from the hospital the day before. 🙂
Brand spankin’ new! And ohhhhh, so gorgeous.
Mama and Papa were just glowing too, so much in awe of their new babies. It was so precious to see not only the boys together, but how much thier parents just adore these precious bundles of joy.
Enjoy your sneak peek, Mom and Dad. More to come soon.
I went back to baby C’s this morning for another round at getting some super-sleepy photos from this precious little guy. And MUCH to my surprise, he started out WIDE AWAKE AGAIN!!!
But luckily his Mama and Grandma had the magical touch, and sure enough, after some patient waiting and a bit more milk, he was off to slumberland. And I was able to get some scrumptious, snugly poses out of him.
Enjoy his sneak peek part deux.
This little newborn baby infant was the cutest little thing ever. Perfect in every way… except one! He WOULD. NOT. SLEEP!!! LOL.
His mommy and daddy kept telling me how surprised they were that he was so wide awake for our session because all he normally does is sleep, like the good little baby he is. Well, this little guy must have his eye on Hollywood someday, because the minute I pulled out the camera, he was all awake and ready to play. He wasn’t even too fussy, really, just wasn’t sleepy… which made posing him an extra challenge, oh, well… I’m sure the minute I left he probably crashed and slept the rest of the day. Such is being a newborn photographer, trying to get those perfect infant baby portraits… you really on baby time, not on your time.
Sooooo cute, and so precious. And despite all that, I was still able to get some of those snuggle-licious sleepy newborn photos I’m known for. And yes, a few wide awake ones too.
Look for some more in a few days when we give it another go with a hopefully much more sleepy and easy to pose baby. 🙂
I was thrilled when this fellow triplet family chose me to take their first ever professional family portraits, and even more so when they chose a location near and dear to my heart: Scottsdale Center for the Arts.
Their triplet boys are ten and just so handsome and well mannered. I hope my girls grow into such nice kids… it was just a pleasure to work with them.
I met a client, her mother, and her two twin daughters at Scottsdale’s Railroad Park the other day for a fantastic photo session. These two precious little girls will be one in December, and they have sooooo much curiosity. You can just see those little brains working, discovering every little thing!
And they’re definitely going to be a handful for their beautiful Mama, LOL. Trust me, as a mom with three year old triplet girls, I KNOW what she’s about to get into, LOL. But I’m sure neither one of us would trade it for the world.
It’s so amazing watching and photographing little ones at this age, just discovering the world around them. I love capturing that wonder and delight on their faces when they discover something as simple as a crackly leaf, or looking over in wonder as the little train full of kids goes by… And you can see from these children’s portraits, they really enjoy each other’s company. That’s one of the things I find most amazing to watch with twins, triplets, or any other level of multiples… the bonds they have with each other, even at very young ages. There’s nothing else like it, and it’s even more amazing to think that those bonds will just grow stronger with each other as they grow from little babies into childhood and finally into adulthood.
What an honor it is to be able to photograph these very special early interactions between these two beautiful twin girls through my photography in Scottsdale. I’m truly blessed… as is this special family.
Can you tell? I REALLY love to photograph young kids!
