I’ve known Madeline’s gorgeous mother since we went to grade school together. We recently reconnected when I was photographing a ballet performance that Madeline was in. Her mother is still just as nice and beautiful as she was when I first met her way back when… and Madeline definitely takes after her mother.
What a beautiful young woman, inside and out. It was a true pleasure to photograph her. And we really had some fun too!
Thanks again, Madeline and Wendy. Here’s a sneak peek at your photos… quite a few actually. I’ll have a full gallery for you to view soon.
Oh, what a snugly, squishy bundle of love this little guy was! At just over two weeks old, he was actually slightly older than most of the newborns I shoot, but that didn’t bother him at all. He slept like a dream and was the perfect newborn model! Daddy was a football player in college, and wanted a shot with little M and his game ball. I’m soooooo glad he suggested it, because this shot is one of my all-time favorite newborn shots I’ve ever done.
Thanks to Mommy and Daddy! You sure do have a gorgeous little boy there. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek. I’ll have your full gallery up soon.
This little munchkin was living up to her red-headed reputation, at just eight days old, LOL. She was WIDE AWAKE for most of her newborn photo shoot. 🙂 She didn’t want to miss a minute of it… I can just tell Mom and Dad are going to have their hands full with this ADORABLE little one. Just take a look for yourself… have you ever seen a sweeter face, topped by such a gorgeous sprouting of red hair? Ooooohhhh so precious.
Yep, it’s winter in Scottsdale. You wouldn’t know it by looking outside, with the sunny sky and perfect weather lately, LOL. But when I looked across the street and saw all the leaves on the ground yesterday, I thought “hey, I bet my girls would love playing in the leaves!”
So we trotted across the street and they had a BLAST! It was all giggles for about 45minutes or so, and I had the opportunity to get some great lifestyle photos of my girly girls in action.
I’ll be using photos from this session in some Valentine’s Cards I’m designing for the girls to hand out to their classmates.
Well, it’s not exactly Friday, for the fix-it-friday, but the weekend just got away from me, LOL. This afternoon I took a look at the iHeartFaces FIF photo editing challenge, and I couldn’t resist playing with this beautiful image. I’m so happy with the results. I really love photoshopping a relatively dull photo into something gorgeous.
So, how did I do? What do you think?
Here’s my edit:
Beautiful girl, huh?
Here’s the original image, as provided by iHeartFaces:
To get there, I warmed it up, did a mid tone bump and a saturation boost. That’s it. Pretty simple, but made a world of difference.
iHeartFaces is one of my favorite photography blogs to visit. Many of you have seen some of my submissions into the iHeartFaces post processing challenges, held of Fridays called Fix-it-Fridays.
Well, they also have occasional photo contests, and this week’s contest is to enter your favorite face of 2010. Well, of course I couldn’t resist entering this adorable photo I shot of my nephew Matthew. It puts a smile on my face every time I see it. I hope does the same for you.

Baby E was only five days old when her Mama, Papa and handsome big brother invited me over to take some photos of her and the rest of her family. And ohhhhh, what a lovely family they are. I was so happy to come out to their gorgeous Cave Creek home and take these photos of their lovely new addition.
Congratulations again to the proud Mom and Dad. Your daughter is so beautiful… I hope these photos do her justice. Enjoy your sneak peek. I’ll get your full gallery to you soon.
My good friend Connie just added a new member to her family, and she recently invited me over. She wanted some shots for her Christmas cards, as well as some wall portraits.
I couldn’t believe how delicious her new kitty is! Sooooooo gorgeous, and a fantastic personality to boot. We had a ton of fun with the ornaments.
🙂 Enjoy… and here’s a link to the full gallery, if you want to see what a complete session’s gallery looks like. click here for full gallery
And of course, we couldn’t forget her little puppy Winnie (although he did get his own shoot over the summer, too, so this one was mostly about Kitty!)
Not even sure if “adorableness” is a word, but these little guys were just four months old, and oooohhhh so adorable! It brought back so many memories for me of when my little ones were that small. So sweet and precious. And their parents and family members were just beaming!
Take a look for yourself, don’t they make you just swoon?
Ooooh, the sweetness…
