Okay, I’m not going to lie. It was H-O-T out! But you’d never know it from looking at how much fun this family was having. It’s clear that their lives revolve around their adorable four year old boy-girl twins. And how could you blame them? Just look at how much fun they were having, and how adorable they were.
And super well-behaved too. It was so much fun photographing this family! Thank you again for choosing me to take your family photos. And thanks for being such good sports about it, despite the heat.
Looks like Mom and Dad were enjoying themselves too…
As were Grandma and Grandpa…
And we also tried a little something fun and different for their Christmas cards this year. I think it came out really cute. What do you think?
This sweet girl was just ten days old when I was invited over to her house for her very first photo session. And what a super model she was!
As were her gorgeous parents at their maternity session.
Isn’t she just the most precious thing you’ve ever seen???
I recently had the opportunity to do a photo session with this gorgeous young woman. The light was perfect, the model was perfect and I was able to capture the most yummy photos…
Enjoy. And thanks Samantha for a WONDERFUL session.
Yep, that’s right. We just got back from a road trip to San Diego. Grandpa and Grandma came with us, so it wasn’t sooooo overwhelming for me to tackle alone with the girls. And I have to say, they were troopers. The girls were really great, actually much better in the car than I expected (of course until the drive home, LOL. But we were allllll exhausted by then, so who can blame them???)
We went to Sea World, the SD Zoo, the beach, the beach, and the beach, LOL.
We all had such a fantastic time, and it was super fun to see the girls playing in the waves for the first time. They LOVED it!
We also got a chance to visit with some of our CA relatives, and that was really wonderful too.
All in all, a VERY successful road trip. 🙂
Here are some random shots I got along the way. Enjoy…
My incredibly talented and amazingly gorgeous cousin Julie married the man of her dreams, Jared (who happens to be just as amazing as she is, BTW!) this weekend.
I was privileged to be able to do some candid shots of the ceremony for the happy couple.
I couldn’t be happier for them, and trust me, there isn’t a nicer, more perfect-for-each-other couple I know.
Best wishes for the future, Julie and Jared. You deserve all the happiness this world has to offer you.
I’m soooooo happy for both of you.
Oh, and my girls say “thanks for the dancin’!!! They had the “BEST DAY EVER”!!! And Julie, just be prepared, they are now CONVINCED you’re a real princess.
Having triplets is no walk in the park. Except when you’re actually walking to the park, LOL.
The other night we decided to walk down to the park for an impromptu little photo session and some playground fun.
Well, as you can imagine if you have kids, or if you’ve been around kids at all, it’s never easy getting them to cooperate with you. Especially when you’re their mom. Especially when you have a camera in your hands. Even bribery seldom works.
Frequently I can get one to look my direction and smile, or at least not pout. Occasionally I get two… Almost never will all three have a pleasant expression on their faces while I have my camera pointed at them, LOL.
So, I’ve come to accept that, and I’m happy when I can capture their personalities through a series of photos… maybe not all three in the same frame. But I’ve also found that I’m loving the “outtakes” almost more than the elusive traditional family portrait with three happy, well-behaved girls posed perfectly and smiling directly into the camera.
I’m capturing memories here, and these are the memories I always want to have with me. I mean come on, you gotta love the photos where two are cooperating and the third has this “I’m going to scream” look on her face.
So now, for your viewing pleasure… Here are my girls. Really and truly. With all the love and attitude they have. And I love them to death.
This lovely couple just moved down to the Phoenix area from Canada. Daddy-to-be is an Executive Sous Chef at a 5-star Scottsdale resort.
So, on top of moving to another country, and starting a brand new job, this gorgeous couple are planning for a new addition to their family in just a few weeks! And I can’t wait to meet their little one.
You can see they’re kind of looking forward to it too, LOL.
Just look at the love and anticipation in their faces! Oooohhh, la, la!
Congratulations again Mommy and Daddy. I’m so excited for you.
It was a pleasure photographing your maternity session, and I’m really looking forward to your newborn session.
What a beautiful couple… what a STUNNING mama-to-be. I’m excited to share these photos I took the other day for this couple. They’re expecting their baby girl in just a few weeks… such a special time in their lives. I’m honored to capture these intimate moments for families.
Congratulations Mama and Papa! I bet you can’t wait to meet your little girl. I know I can’t wait to come over and take her newborn photos.
Enjoy your sneak peek.
I got a call a few weeks ago from M’s mommy wanting baby pictures for her little girl. She was already eight weeks old, and normally I prefer to shoot infants under two weeks of age. They are the most sleepy, fold up into those perfect little balls more, allow you to pose them the way you want, and are generally less fussy than older babies… but this little darling was FULL of PERSONALITY! I’m talking stop the presses P-E-R-S-O-N-A-L-I-T-Y.
She didn’t sleep a wink, but that was just fine with me, because she had the biggest smile and brightest blue eyes I’ve ever seen on a little one. And she wasn’t shy about flirting with the camera either…
In short, she was a DREAM to photograph.
Congratulations Mom and Dad, and big brother and sister, on your beautiful little addition to your family. She’s just precious!!!
Just see for yourself what a beauty she is…
Yep, you read that right. It SNOWED in Scottsdale this weekend!!!
So grandma, our friend Doris and I packed up the kids and headed up to Desert Mountain to trespass on their very WHITE golf course (along with a bunch of other people, of course).
We all had so much fun!!!
Enjoy the photos. And yes, it really was that beautiful out there.
